Religious School

Our Mission
To provide each student with a Jewish education that will enable them to experience the inspiration of Jewish Living, and guide them towards maturity as religious, integrated personalities, rooted in their faith.
Our Program
Is designed to integrate various aspects of Judaism and Hebrew through the different grade levels. We start our program with children as young as four years old, since we strongly believe that children at this age are prepared to start their journey of Jewish learning and exploration. As the grade levels advance, the exploration becomes deeper and the students are becoming familiar with the daily and weekly Jewish practices. Our Hebrew program is designed to provide our students with the ability to comprehend and appreciate the language in which we pray.
Our Teachers
Among the top Jewish educators in Las Vegas, their achievements with our students have been a source of pride for our school. Their knowledge and creativity is a winning duo in creating a thorough but fun learning experience for our students.
Our School
Your child will belong to a community of learners and doers. Our students are encouraged to reach their potential, and at the same time, enjoy the Jewish social environment. As a beacon of Jewish and Hebrew education in Las Vegas, it is our honor and duty to facilitate it with the very best curriculum and faculty.
Teen Information
It is with tremendous excitement that we announce the creation of a new High Holy Day experience for you, our Temple Beth Sholom teenagers. On the first day of Rosh Hashannah and on Yom Kippur, we are offering a program with two segments designed to keep you both interested and awake! The mornings will begin at 10:30 am and continue until 12:30 pm, with each segment lasting exactly one hour. You will be divided into two groups according to age.
One hour of your morning will be spent with our new Religious and Youth Educator, Jennifer Weiss. Jennifer, who is both our religious school principal and our USY Coordinator, has created an informal educational experience that is sure to keep you engaged. For those of you yet to meet Jennifer, she is a skilled teacher whose activities are always new and creative. Her High Holy Day program is certainly going to be unique and entertaining.
A second hour of your morning will be spent in the Steinberg Chapel with Rabbi Adam. We are aware that you are certainly old enough to explore the themes of the High Holy Days in a structured service, but understand that you are still young enough to want to have fun in the process! Therefore, we have asked Rabbi Adam to design an interactive and energetic High Holy Day service for you that will keep your attention, allow you to participate, and even teach you a thing or two about the High Holy Days. For those of you have experienced a service with Rabbi Adam, whether it was on the Shabbaton or during Mishpachat Minyan at Temple Beth Sholom, you know that this is sure to be an exciting way to celebrate the High Holy Days.
We look forward to your participation in our new High Holy Day Teen Program.
